Futures for Children

Futures for Children ensures the right of Native American children to an education. Through its three Circles of Support, FUTURES FOR CHILDREN encourages success and leadership in communities.

Mentorship/Friendship provides Native American children with much needed one-to-one encouragement to stay in school and succeed academically. Through letters, e-mail, phone calls and visits from mentors, students are encouraged to complete high school and pursue post-secondary education. To learn more about becoming a mentor, click here.

Youth Leadership inspires Native American students to be young leaders and role models. Students make positive contributions to their communities, build self esteem, gain a voice and earn public recognition.

Families In Action strengthens Native children's primary support systems and increases the involvement of parents and families in their children's academic pursuits. The support of family and community positively impacts their life choices and success.
